Since the scribbling began with in 2009, Mark has written on everything from the true place of beer in the universe to the finer points of the UK’s binge drinking culture. An eclectic mix of fellow beer lovers and brewers have contributed on topics including real ale, pubs, glassware, homebrew, beer festivals and the general pursuit of happiness through beer. The site is also home to long running serial Desert Island Beers. Outside of blogging Mark is a qualified digital marketer with a passion for beers from all around the world. Mark has written travel and sport features for The Leeds Guide magazine and his hobbies include — as well as drinking and writing about beer — five a side, photography, walking, science & history reading and following the ups and downs of Leeds United.
