A member of CAMRA for over 30 years, volunteering at local and national festivals, both at GBBF and the NWAF. Had had a 16 year association with Bières Sans Frontières where he was the controller/manager for five years. Has also organised tutored tastings at GBBF and contributed articles to What’s Brewing in relation to BSF. Has provided copy and advice on beer for the publication of Drinks by Vincent Gasnier (DK 2005). Appears on judging panels at both local and national festivals.
